Frequently Asked Questions

  • *10’ x 10’ freestanding tent for your team plus weights; no stakes allowed. Out of consideration for the volunteers and city personnel, please keep your tent areas clean and orderly throughout the event. Not cleaning up at the end of the event may result in financial fees and/or not being allowed to compete in the future.

    *Bug spray

    *Folding chairs

    *Games (corn hole, cards, etc. There isn’t room for larger games such as Frisbees or footballs.)

    *Garbage/recycling bags

    *Table(s)

    *Tent decorations

  • *Comfortable clothing including team or event shirt, pants or shorts, and a hat or visor

    *An extra set of clothes

    *Gloves (for paddling)

    *Sunglasses

    *Sunscreen

    *Towels

    *Waterproof shoes (shoes are required in the boat), such as sport sandals or water shoes

    *A backpack for keys, cell phones, glasses, etc., to keep things safe during practice and races

  • Parking is available on streets and city lots around the Leach Amphitheater. Please check before parking; on most streets, parking is only allowed on one side. Make sure you only use public lots, which are clearly marked with signs. Leach parking lots will not be available nor is the Convention Center lot.

  • Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Festival. DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased at the Festival, but team members may not purchase alcohol until all races are complete.

  • No animals are allowed except for trained service animals.
